Our Staff
Sally Collins
Sally Collins has been a professional since 1972 and has operated Collinswood LLC in Stanwood WA since 1986. She is a USEF licensed "r" judge, Board Member of the Washington State Hunter and Jumper Association, clinician and mentor to young professionals as well as business owner and trainer. Sally is respected not only for her knowledge and experience in producing A rated hunters and jumpers but also for the respect and patience she shows with her clients and their horses. Her love of teaching comes through in each lesson. Her favorite hobbies are back country snow skiing with her son Scott and fly fishing with her husband Bruce, an equine
veterinary practioner.
Sue Grotzke
Sue has been the Barn Manager at Collinswood for 15 years and is the best in the business. She provides the daily "hands on" each horse, oversees the schedules, ordering and record keeping. She is passionate about the job and horses and lets
us all sleep easier at night.
Kylie Grotzke
Kylie has ridden with Sally Collins since she was 12 in the rated hunters and finsihed her junior career jumping in the Grand Prix division. Kylie kept riding at Collinswood through college and has been training, teaching and showing full time since 2007.
Liz McLeod
Liz has ridden and shown at Collinswood since she was
8 in the hunter and jumper rings. Liz also kept riding through school and showed in both rings as an amateur. Liz provides the continuity in the training program when Sally and Kylie are on the road showing
